Rural Energy Marketing, LLC was started in 2004 with the purpose of producing ethanol from corn stover. Rural Energy Marketing, LLC is made up of a group of engineers, farmers, and innovators working together to bring the dream to reality.
There were many hurdles to overcome including finding a process, getting local support, getting government support, and bringing together a team to build a project. After finding the technology to successfully accomplish this type of project we searched for a team to put it all together. Having found a team we went to work on getting support of the local, State and Federal governments and the local community. There is currently support for the project at every level.
The technology the projects will be based on is the Fischer-Tropsch technology as discussed under the Process tab. Rural Energy Marketing, LLC is currently looking for potential ethanol plant sites.
